In 2003 Robert Sandelson presented a major retrospective of Victor Vasarely, the artist's first UK exhibition in thirty years and the first commercial gallery show worldwide for fifteen years.
This was followed in 2005 by an exhibition of key works from the artist’s black and white period of the 1950s and 60s. These visually arresting and iconic works represent the ground breaking turning point in Vasarely’s artistic career that would establish his reputation as founding Op artist.
