Sam
Francis is one of the major figures of twentieth century American
Abstract Expressionism.
In 2003 Robert Sandelson presented the artist's first ever retrospective exhibition
in the UK spanning his entire career from the 1950s to the late 1980s. A second
show followed in 2005.
